ABOUT THE MODEL
How It Works
We do not build dependency. We build multipliers.
We do not create reliance on foreign missions. We strengthen local capacity for service, especially in a world marked by wars, social trauma, family crises, and growing mental‑health challenges.
The challenge
Many pastors, church leaders, and NGO workers face an overwhelming number of people seeking help. At the same time, they often lack formal training in counseling or crisis intervention. This creates real pressure, emotional strain, and significant personal burden in their ministry.
How NOVUS responds
We respond by integrating four areas of formation and support:
providing professional counseling and therapeutic care
People receive whole-person support that honors emotional, relational, and spiritual needs.
educating Christian leaders
Students gain accredited theological and counseling formation that prepares them to serve wisely and compassionately.
developing Christian counseling
We equip believers to establish counseling ministries in their churches and communities.
nurturing spiritually grounded care
We form leaders who serve with humility, biblical grounding, and a deep understanding of the human person.
Our goal
Through this integrated approach, we prepare leaders who can serve wisely, compassionately, and sustainably in the places God calls them. These leaders strengthen families, churches, and communities, creating long‑term capacity for care that continues for generations.
