Church Planting

From God at the center, new churches take life
Church planting at NOVUS does not begin with a strategy. It begins with formation. Through Theology and Counseling Studies, students learn to care for people with wisdom, compassion, and biblical grounding.
Their practical training places them in real churches and mission contexts, where they see needs, serve communities, and often discover a calling to shepherd.
When God forms people deeply, communities naturally take life around them. This is why counseling plays such a central role in the NOVUS cycle. Students begin by walking with individuals, then small groups, and sometimes those groups grow into communities of prayer, Scripture, and shared life. In time, these communities may become the seed of a new church.
NOVUS stays close to students throughout the process, offering guidance, connecting them with partner churches, and supporting them as they discern and develop healthy, Christ‑centered congregations.
